How do I know I have the right skill level for a specific program?
> For every program you can find a filled in "Freeride Passport" showing the minimal requirements. Go to "About You" and click on "Skill Level" to fill in your own Freeride Passport. Compare your own passport with the program's passport to see if you have the right level of skill.
My Freeride Passport doesn't correspond completely with the minimum requirements of the program I'd like to sign up for. Is this a problem?
> A perfect match would be ideal but oftentimes not possible. If you have questions regarding your skill level or need advice on how to prepare yourself for a Ski-Madness descent, please contact us.
Does the Freeride Passport work?
> The Freeride Passport only works if you fill it in honestly. It's meant as an easy way to compare your abilities to our requirements.
How should I prepare for participation in a Ski-Madness program?
> The oxygen level is lower at high altitude, which means your body has to work harder and you get tired faster. It's possible to increase oxygen intake through endurance training. We recommend cycling, mountain biking or using a cross-trainer for example. If you're looking to do some lifting, then use free weights and do exercises that train your lower back, abdomen, shoulders and neck.
